Choose an intake and enrol, and you get access to your EDUTIVE account straight away. Before the sessions you can work through the optional reading lessons. You then attend the live interactive webinars with a trainer, and afterwards complete the quizzes and the written assessment. Written assessments are usually marked within one business day, and your certificate appears in your account once everything is done and your licence details are checked.
You must attend personally: the enrolled learner is the person on camera. Use your own EDUTIVE account, and do not share logins or let someone else attend for you. Join with a working camera and microphone, keep your camera on, and stay visible for the full session unless the trainer briefly says otherwise. Have your photo ID and NSW licence or certificate of registration ready if asked. Take part in the activities. If these are not met, the session may be marked incomplete and a certificate may not be issued. Full conditions are in our Terms of Service.
Yes. To count for the 2026–27 CPD year, everything, including the quizzes and written assessment, needs to be finished by 30 June 2027. You have 12 months' access to the online lessons after you enrol.
Each intake shows how many seats are left. Webinars are capped at 25 people, so popular sessions can fill. If an intake is full, you can join the waitlist or choose another intake.
No. Class 1 licence holders also need at least 5 hours at a NSW Fair Trading accredited forum, and those in the relevant areas of practice need AUSTRAC's Smart real estate agent's guide to AML/CTF course. Both sit on top of the 7 compulsory hours and aren't part of this course.
Yes. A Licensee in Charge can book seats for the team. Larger teams may be spread across more than one session, and we offer a discount for large groups. Get in touch and we can issue a tax invoice for bank transfer.

Additional CPD for Class 1 licence holders
Beyond the compulsory topics for your area of practice, Class 1 agents have two further requirements for the current CPD year.
- 01
5-hour accredited forum
Class 1 licence holders need to spend at least 5 hours at a NSW Fair Trading accredited forum relevant to their licence category, on top of the compulsory topics for their area of practice. If you hold more than one licence category, one forum is enough.
Fair Trading is running several forums during 2026–27, and some approved providers also run accredited forums, which may carry a fee. Keep the email address on your licence up to date so you hear about Fair Trading's sessions.

AUSTRAC AML/CTF course
Class 1 licence holders in the relevant areas of practice* must also complete AUSTRAC's Smart real estate agent's guide to AML/CTF course. You can do it through AUSTRAC's self-paced online program or its train-the-trainer delivery.
This course sits outside the accredited forum, and it's separate from the compulsory Supervision Guidelines and AML CTF topic in your CPD course. Keep your completion certificate or other record of completion.
*Relevant areas of practice are residential sales, buyer's agents, commercial real estate, business broking, and stock and station agents. Confirm your obligations on the Fair Trading CPD page.
